[Message for the students]

I have worked as an archivist in the National Archives and the Cabinet Office, a specialist in records management policy. In Japan, the Basic Act on Records Keeping called "Public Records and Archives Management Act" was finally established in 2009, and I have been working to prepare for its implementation, operation, and improvement. From the perspective of the country and society as a whole, awareness and needs for archivists as professionals and positions in organizational activities are not sufficiently established, and the required resources, ie, knowledge to support expertise It is also necessary to build up the content of skills, ethics and so on. While learning the archival world that has not yet lost new possibilities and the archival sciences that are the core of its intellectual foundation, I hope to step forward with you on the frontier of knowledge that is expanding into the future .
