How to get to Gakushuin University
The closest station to Gakushuin University is JR Yamanote Line's Mejiro Station. Below is an outline of the various ways of travelling to Mejiro Station from 2 airports in Tokyo area.



From Narita New Tokyo International Airport

1) Limousine bus (orange colour)
Time required : approx. 90 minutes or longer, depending upon traffic conditions (congestion, etc.)
Cost : approx. 3,000yen
Please purchase a limousine bus ticket at the ticket counter located within the airport's arrival lobby. Take the limousine bus from the appropriate bus stop located outside the airport terminal. If you take a limousine bus bound for Shinjuku Station (bound for Shinjuku Nishi-guchi) or for Ikebukuro Station, take the JR Yamanote line (green-coloured loop-line train) from Shinjuku or Ikebukuro Station. Get off the train at Mejiro Station (the third station from Shinjuku and the first station from Ikebukuro). If you take a limousine bus bound for Tokyo Station, take the JR Chuo Line (orange-coloured train) from Tokyo Station. Change at Shinjuku to the JR Yamanote Line and get off at Mejiro Station.

2) Narita Express (N'EX) (operated by JR East)
Time required : slightly less than 90 minutes
Cost : approx. 3,000yen

From the airport's arrival lobby, go to the JR station located underground. Please purchase a ticket to Mejiro Station by an automatic ticket machine or at the counter. You need to pay an extra express charges for the Narita Express. Take the Narita Express bound for Tokyo or for Shinjuku. For access to the university from these stations, please refer to 1) above.
3) Airport Narita Rapid Service (operated by JR East)
Time required : slightly less than two hours
Cost : approx. 1,500yen
From the airport's arrival lobby, go to the JR station located underground. Please purchase a ticket to Mejiro Station from an automatic ticket machine or at the counter. Get off the train at Tokyo. For access to the university from the station, please refer to 1) above.
4) Keisei Skyliner (operated by Keisei Electric Railway)
Time required : slightly less than 90 minutes
Cost : approx. 2,000yen
Purchase a ticket to Nippori Station at the ticket counter located within the airport's arrival lobby, or from an automatic ticket machine or at the ticket counter at the Keisei station located underground. You need to pay an extra express charges for the Keisei Skyliner. Change at Nippori to the JR Yamanote Line and get off at Mejiro Station, the seventh station from Nippori.
5) Keisei Express (operated by Keisei Electric Railway)
Time required : slightly more than 90 minutes
Cost : approx. 1,000yen
Purchase a ticket to Nippori Station at the ticket counter located within the airport's arrival lobby, or from an automatic ticket machine or at the ticket counter at the Keisei station located underground. For access to the university from Nippori Station, please refer to 4) above.

From Haneda Airport

1) Limousine bus (orange colour)
Time required : approx. 60 minutes or longer, depending upon traffic conditions (congestion, etc.)
Cost : approx. 1,400yen
Please purchase a limousine bus ticket at the ticket counter located within the airport's arrival lobby. Take the limousine bus from the appropriate bus stop located outside the airport terminal. You need to take one bound for Shinjuku Station (bound for Shinjuku Nishi-guchi) or for Ikebukuro Station. At Shinjuku/Ikebukuro station, please take the JR Yamanote line (green-coloured loop-line train) and get off the train at Mejiro Station (the third station from Shinjuku and the first station from Ikebukuro).
2) Tokyo Monorail+JR Yamanote line
Time required : approx.60 minutes
Cost : 720yen
Please take a monorail train from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsu-cho.(470yen) Take the JR Yamanote line to Mejiro station.(250yen)
3) Keihin Kyuko (Keikyu)+JR Yamanote line
Time required : approx.50 minutes
Cost : 590yen
From the airport's arrival lobby, go to the Keihin Kyuko station located underground. Take the Keihin Kyuko line(Keikyu) to Shinagawa station. Change to the JR Yamanote line and get off the train at Mejiro station.
