| Self-Introduction |
My specialization is Modern German Literature and Culture, such as Franz Kafka, Robert Musil, Ernst Jünger, Bertolt Brecht, Lion Feuchtwanger, Thomas Mann and Hugo von Hofmannsthal. The further area of research is the perception of Asia and Japan in the western literature and culture under the perspective of cultural contacts. I also have a strong interest in Jewish and political emigrations from Germany and Europe to East-Asia during WWII. |
