Committee Activities

Students in Grades 5 and 6 are divided into 11 committees that are responsible for various different activities.

Representative Committee Discusses matters related to school life, operate morning assemblies.
Athletics Committee Organises athletic competitions, morning assembly exercises, organises the gymnasium equipment.
Library Committee Lends out books, keeps bookshelves tidy, plans reading week, Primary School Festival events.
PR Committee Creates newspapers and posters for monthly goals, posts photo news, etc.
Health Committee Conducts campaigns to ensure students write their names on health-care items that belong to them, sickroom surveys and statistics, etc.
Plants and Gardens Committee Cares for flower beds and for plants in the Kinkoen Garden.
Beautification Committee Appeals for the beautification of the school, plans contests to clean classrooms.
Broadcasting Committee Broadcasts lunchtime music.
International Relations Committee Conducts donation campaigns for charities such as UNICEF and organises cultural and language exchanges with elementary schools in Australia.
School Lunch Committee Introduces and explains school lunch menu, promotes a healthy diet.
Animal Rearing Committee Takes care of the small animals raised at Aiikuen chicken house.
