Message from the Director
Gakushuin University Research Institute for Humanities is spreading the study of humanities throughout the world. We provide the opportunity to combine humanities with the fields of philosophy, art history, literature, languages, psychology, and history to corporeal representation and archival science, extending regions from Europe to Asia and periods from ancient to modern. A new knowledge of humanities appropriate for the contemporary era is being developed, and current studies are being re-examined at all universities. Tests are also being conducted by all universities regarding new combinations of humanities, pluralistic humanities in the era of globalization, or interface humanities. Our institute is also gradually yielding positive results through these collaborative projects and lectures. |
