講演題目：Synthesizing Novel Fluorinated Molecules by Adding Fluorine and Removing Fluorine

講演概要:

　Summary: The concept “ESCAPE from PFAS“ touches on a major and timely issue in chemistry balancing the exceptional properties of fluorine-containing compounds with the urgent need for sustainability, especially in the face of growing regulatory and environmental pressures. This lecture focuses on advancing non-PFAS fluorinated molecules with a particular emphasis on SF5 chemistry. The goal is to pioneer the next generation of high-value fluoroorganics by developing innovative synthetic methodologies enabling access to unprecedented SF5molecular assemblies.

　Cahard博士は，フッ素化合物の合成反応で優れた業績をあげているフランスのCNRSの研究者です。近年社会問題となっているPFASの使用を回避するための新たな化合物として，SF5を含む化合物の合成研究を中心に最新の研究成果についてご講演いただきます。
